A lot of workshops charge labour for something you can do in your driveway with zero tools on most cars. The cabin filter usually sits behind the glovebox and pops out once you release the stoppers. The engine air filter is a clip-off box under the bonnet. Buy a decent filter, match the part number, and you're done. Happy to help if anyone wants to identify the right filter for their model.

Did this last weekend after reading a similar guide. Took me longer to find the part number than to actually swap it.

Tip: photograph the airflow arrow on the old filter before removing it so you install the new one facing the right way.

Can you help me identify the cabin filter for a 2018 model? The glovebox on mine does not seem to drop down the usual way.
